The Setting

The setting of the Bastard:

The magical world is divided amongst CEO Lords that vie for power. Knights and inquisitors carry out their will. Mercenary companies work for the highest bidder. Towns and villages carve out what peace they can as strange gods wander the world. Magic is rampant and intigrated into technology.

Animal people called animalia live in harmony with elves, humans, and mystical creatures. Soul jars are a common occurance and lack the need for sleep or food.
